Adam DeVarney is a visual artist currently living and working in Chicago, IL. He was born in 1983 in Burlington, VT. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States including shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia.

DeVarney works in mixed media and incorporates a range of disciplines from painting and illustration to collage and image transfer techniques. The work is also influenced by a deep rooted interest in creative technical illustration. The artist primarily creates paintings in series, taking inspiration from film noir and vintage pulp, often including themes of adventure, mystique, and heroism.
